After production, wine can be sold away (to Ho.Re.Ca or GDO) or it can be sold and consumed straight away close to its production area (direct sale). The direct sale in particular, allows the producer to increase the profit margin since intermediaries are not necessary. It is therefore necessary to provide a proper place for the conservation, presentation and tasting of the wines in the sale points. Herein, proper environmental conditions need to be set so that the characteristics of wine can be preserved and the marketing assets would be carried out.
