Aims: improving the food & wine SMEs performance and growth-diversification and enhance sustainable agri-food tourism.
WELLFOOD Platform/APP
To promote and give info about food & wine events, producers and products.
Activities π‘ͺ Sensory Analysis: scientific discipline that applies principles of experimental design and statistical analysis to the use of human senses (sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing) for the purposes of evaluating consumer products.
Collaborators: CIAS Innovation (Italian Centre for Sensory Analysis β Matelica)
Aim of the sensory analysis activity:
Make people taste local products; ask them to give a description of the flavours and smells felt while tasting based on a set of given options, make them give a feedback about the product, in order to:
- Deepening the knowledge of the products of a territory
- Creating a new sensory experience
- Collecting new sensory data over a wide scale based on smartphones
- Evaluating local products
