EU Member States produce more than half of the wine worldwide. Wine production is an important economic activity for many regional economies, regarding activity and employment. Each wine has got its’ own character, depending directly on the grape it comes from, the area where it is grown, the way it is vinified and aged. This section will address the procedures implemented during wine production that are critical for wine quality.
