Just like in the case of any other food processing, wine making is very energy consuming. The energy needed is mainly of electrical nature and it is used in different quantities according to the production phases. It is paramount to know which machineries and which phases need energy to actually set strategies to save it. In this work, we will show some valuable solutions to actually do this so that production costs can be accounted differently so that the whole process is sustainable at economical level.
